Taking part in the ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’ for McMillan this year was a lovely way to help raise money for cancer support and to come together in the community.
With coffee mornings taking place at both of our offices it was great to see so many people come along and say hello, stop and chat… not just with us but with a few people finding themselves bumping into friends they haven’t seen for a while. With landlords, vendors, purchasers as well as local people popping along to show their support we received lots of generous donations and we are delighted to announce that thanks to YOU we raised £235.15! Not bad for tea and cake.
Thank you to all the staff who took part in organising and baking homemade treats such as; lemon drizzle cakes, carrot cakes, brownies, oreo brownies, cookies, victoria sponge cake, chocolate cake and vegan banana and courgette cake as well as some fabulous shortbread donated by Belinda’s Tearooms in Arundel. Who knew our team could bake so well. Who knows – perhaps there will be a ‘Bake off’ next year!
